Welcome to 100 Women Who Care Rural Cape Breton!

Congratulations to the 2024 charity - LEESIDE SOCIETY - from Port Hawkesbury!

Our annual event was held on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

This was our 6th year and we, once again, gave out over $10,000, making our total contribution over the 6 years reach over $80,000. Consider nominating a charity that can be put in our draw for our 2025 event scheduled for September 14, 2025. Pictures of our event will be uploaded in the next few days.

Please help get the word out to all - check out our membership form on the “Get Involved” tab above, and consider nominating a worthy local non-profit business from Inverness, Richmond, or Victoria Counties. So many charities can benefit from a much-needed boost of $10,000 or more for a special project!

Are you limited for time but would like to be part of a powerful group of women supporting local registered charities? All it takes is $100 once per year at a 2 hour event.

Members nominate the charities, 3 are drawn from a hat, all 3 make a 5 minute appeal as to what they would do with this much-needed money, the members vote for their favourite, and the votes are counted and one charity goes home with $10,000 or more!
